Tokenized equities: the hype vs the potential

My hype aversion was triggered this morning while reading a newsletter from a well-known crypto publication discussing this week’s announcement from the NYSE that it has partnered with Securitize to build its own tokenized securities platform.

Now, this is not exactly market-moving news – we already knew that NYSE was going to build a tokenized asset platform, and Securitize is a logical choice of partner.

That doesn’t stop the hype-masters from taking advantage of the headlines to spout inanities about the soon-to-be-unleashed volumes.
