Russia’s crypto narrative
I’ve written before about Russia’s CBDC acceleration and its use of stablecoins for busting sanctions, but not much about its evolving stance on domestic crypto asset adoption. There is movement on that front, relevant given the outsized interest from institutional and retail investors, as well as the growing role onchain assets are likely to have in the Russian economy as the global payments landscape continues to shift.
